This exhibition gathers a wide selection of the painting gallery, with examples of XVIII century paintings from the Veneto area and a wide section dedicated to XVII century, middle-class and official portraits: (portraits of the Emperors Giuseppe II, Francesco I, Ferdinando I and Francesco Giuseppe). Among the paintings of religious subject, quite interesting is the S. Francesco's Exctasy by Palma il Giovane (1544-1628) and a series of saints painted with pastels by Francesco Pavona (1692-1777). Among the XVIII century painters, quite important are Antonio Paroli and Johann Michael Lichtenreiter from Gorizia. The main representative of the XIX painting is Giuseppe Tominz (1790-1866). The exhibition is completed with some portraits of the second half of the XIX century by Antonio Rotta (1828-1903), Annibale Strata (1828-1894), Valentino Pagoni (1832- 1884) and Lodovico Seculin (1832-1907). In the basement familiar environments and crafts stores are reproduced: the traditional kitchen of Friuli Venezia Giulia; the cellar and hunting room; the smith store with tools; a carpenter's store and stores of a silver maker and an engraver from Gorizia.
