The museum offers a clear representation of the main events of the First World War and their human and social effects. After an introduction, the visitor is guided through the episodes of the war between Italy and Austria on the Isonzo front and in Veneto, the general mobilisation, the arrival of the first contingent of soldiers. The daily life of soldiers is described through a reproduction of a life-sized trench. In the museum there are also the weapons of the conflict and a section consecrated to Gorizia, city of trench. The visit continues with the events of 1917 and 1918, until the armistice of the 3rd November between Italy and Austria. Two rooms are dedicated to General Armando Diaz and the Brigata Alpina Julia.
